Just thinking outloud. Is there any chance of sticking a bigger tire, or more aggressive looking street tire and rims on the truck if i were just to put a 2" leveling kit on?

Its also really nice when you can avoid the 4.5" Lift Kit (2000.00+ in Ontario) and go with the body lift (250.00 max in Ontario)

Money talks....Sadly.

69chargerMD,

dont do any lift kits, especially body... you will not be satisfied if you are an "aggressive" street driver. Go to 4wheelparts. Daystar just came out with a kit for our trucks. Its a 2.5"/1.5" front/rear leveling kit. It will fit a 305 tire. This is a front strut spacer (not the coil spacer). This allows you to keep OEM shocks if you wish. The rear is a block. No gap guards required. The kit runs for about $130-160. The guys I talked to down here say, $400 installed and aligned.

Tires, go to www.tirerack.com . Look up 305/45/22. (I think the 22 looks pretty good on our trucks). General makes a sticky tire - Grabber UHP. Aggressive looking tread and good performance on the street.

Just my .02.

Hope this helped you some.

Hey bud, save the money, I did the leveling kit with an extra leaf out back, new shocks all around. Bought some new '06/'07 aluminum rims, went up to a 285 Firestone from the 265 Goodyears.... before....

after.....
