as far as I know... any model # with the right ends, and a nav that came out of a 06-08 ram will work for you. check out ebay.

I already have a Nav Garmin....I am more interested in the other features that you get with the factory nav....the sat radio display the six disc changer and value of it being in your truck.
hmmm all things i can get you with an aftermarket for hundreds less lol. also it won't be DVD based nav it will be flash based. so no loading dvd's. adding nav doesn't add much value to the truck boss.

I have the Factory unit.
I can take pics if you really want to,
I have seen the same units on Craigslist for 800 or so.
Honestly......save your money, the factory Nav is not the best.

I would have to agree about the Factory unit. You would be able to find one on e-bay or craigslist but evan for that much I can get you a new Pioneer D3 or something like that for less. And you could use the savings to buy a 12 disc changer that plugs directly into the back of the D3 unit. No FM transmitter or anything like that.
I have the factory nav in my 2007.5 ram. It is the same nav thats been in many Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles since 2004. It isn't as robust as some of the newer in dash aftermarket navs but works very well.
I bought it because I wanted it to work with my steering controls, factory sirius satellite, uconnect etc. The factory model REC nav plugs directly in so easy swap other than you need a new bezel. There are adapters to make aftermarket navs work with factory accessories but they add greatly to the cost. I also prefer the mopar uconnect because of its supurb voice recognition and built in phone book etc. that most aftermarkets lack. So for me, the Mopar REC nav has been a perfect choice, plugs right in and works with all my factory equipment.
