I have a 2008, so it might be different, but my manual says to "inspect" the transfer case fluid at 30k, and replace the spark plugs. According to my manual, it doesnt need a tranny fluid change until 120k, which seems high.

Anti-spin = LSD. Not sure how much fluid, my manual is silent on that as well. A pump will probably help getting the fluid in when you do change it.

When you change to synthetic, you still use the same as whatever yourmanual says, probably 5W-30 for your engine, but check your manual.

His truck is 4x2, so no transfer case. The older trucks need tranny fluid at 30K.

Rear diff fluid is a bit under three quarts, plus the friction modifier. 5W-30 should be fine for the Denver winter. 0w-30 synth will probably work, as well.

Spark plugs at 30K, but it can probably wait 'til 50K. Mine didn't get 'em 'til 86K.

Thanks for the info guys. My manual also says to "inspect" the fluids, whatever the hell that means. Also, I found in my manual I need 5w20 oilsince I have the Hemi.

Biggest thing now is when to change the diff fluid and tranny fluid

Well it probably wouldnt hurt to change the fluids, especially since you are the second owner. You never know what the old owner did or didnt do. I would think a store like Autozone would know the capacities.

Tranny fluid is around seven quarts of ATF+4. Rear diff is 75W-140
