ATI doesn't make a procharger for the 4.7....unless they have it listed somewhere other than here http://www.procharger.com/TRUCK_SUV/truck_suv.shtml

But yea if they do then it'll be worth it...OHC engines can usually handle more boost too.

If procharger doesn't (I think the do) the paxton novi kit for the 4.7 is $5200

I don't know if it's worth it money wise but it will make you smile.

Default If your looking for a Paxton kit and want to get the most out

If your looking for a Paxton kit and want to get the most out of it... I think you may want to check out the FIRST and ONLY aluminum intake that will fit the 4.7L engine...

This would also be a great choice if your building a High Compression 11:1cr 4.7L and plan to run a set of 212 cams topped off with a 150 shot of Nitrous....

We will have it mounted in a week or so and have plenty of pics... You may also want to take a look and check out the ARP head stud Kits if you plan to boost.

And for those who plan real crazy HP, ARP MAIN STUD KITS are now available. But there is only one place to get them all.... thats because WE support the 4.7L like no other.

I think you could buy a whole new engine with a higher hp for 5200, or less.

Well it depends on how much HP that kit makes... Superchargers will always run from 3000-5000 on just about any engine.

The only problem would be the factory pistons and brittle Rods. They would not be up to to much boost before leaving you an oil pan of broken parts.

ahh i see...hey airram whats up its russ from colorado lol just got the ho cams and headers in and its reeall nice!! but ya as i was talking the mechanic who installed them..he said they make the procharger for 4.7 ltr dakota which is the same engine as ours and said he would do parts and labor for 5k. and lol he would be happy to do the pro charger on so he can see what it 'll do , he has single cab hemi and wants to race after wards! but that is a big investment. by the way , can you upgrade to a 5.7 ltr from a 4.7 with a manual tranny?
