Make SURE your e-brake is fully off by being underneath looking at the mechanism, when someone releases it.
Road debris and pad/shoes dirt and dust causes the rotor to get stuck.
Pound on the backside of the rotor with a good size club hammer. First one side then the other and wiggle the rotor free.
A lot of shoe dust from the e-brake and rust behind the rotor in the "drum in hat", makes removal sometimes very difficult.
Just be patient and use one of mans best tools............a hammer lol.
Hope this helps?
Al.

Put some anti-seize on the hub before reinstalling the rotor and it will come off easier next time. Rust on the hub makes them a bear to remove.
