Smile warranty question

I purchased a 2008 2WD Hemi quad cab in February of this year. At about 3000 miles the driver's seat began making a creaking sound, (Currently ~6000 miles). Over time it has now become so bad that it creaks at every turn, and every movement that I make. Is this something that would be covered under warranty? I am aware that I am a big guy, (6"1", 320lbs), but I have never experienced anything like this before, even in my 86 Honda CRX. It is highly frustrating. It is even distracting. I am quite ignorant about cars and trucks from a mechanical sense, but I would imagine that if the origin of the noise is from the actual frame/structure of the seat that it could even be a safety issue. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to be armed with some information before approaching the dealer. Thanks in advance.

Keith

Take it to the dealer, the worst that can happen is they tell you they can't find anything wrong with it.

Take it in, if it is defective, it should be covered under warranty.

I am also a big guy, but not quite that heavy. I weight 250 on a 6'4" frame and have no problem with seat rattle or squeak. That would be covered under warranty. Take it in and drive it while the mechanic is in the truck so they can hear it, or get a tape recorder and tape the squeak for them to listen to.

Everything is covered pretty much for 3yr/36K bumper to bumper.
