Default FAO: New Truck Owners...

So I'm curious guys...

Those of you that have purchased new trucks lately, what kind of prices are you getting?

How much have you been able to talk the dealer off the sticker price?

Right now I have an 02 Standard Cab Short Box 4.7 with loads of mods done to it. Lift, Lights, Tires etc etc etc...

Although, this IFS is killing me, hate knowing that I can only go so big, and off road performance isnt that great.

I'm looking to get into a newer Powerwagon, but gonna strip off any mods i have on my truck that will fit a 2500.

I know ppl are getting great deals lately, with how crappy the economy is, but i just wanted to hear some numbers.

any info would be great!

thanks guys

I bought mine new last October before this all started...but I got it for 16.5 and it stickered for around 28. I'm sure I could get it for less now-a-days..

told a friend of mine they had a firm quote of
$19,260 for a $41,000 sticker price loaded 2008 Ram

Local dealer has been offering 1500's at 50% off stickered MSRP for about three months now. No gimmick, I've got a friend who bought a QC Hemi 4x2 on July 4th weekend for 50% off the MSRP.
However, that's strictly the 1500's, the deals aren't anywhere near that good on 2500's, Hemi's or CTD's. You can still get a deal, but not near as good you can get on the 1500's.

heard on the radio a local dealer is taking 15K off of new 2008 1500s with the hemi. wouldn't that bring the price down to around 15K???

i bought mine in early 2007. after rebates and haggling i felt good about financing 20K. my sticker was 31K.

Go to the Dodge website, they are now advertising "up to 40% off MSRP" on 2008 1500s.

My '06 1500 4x4 QC stickered for 35K and I drove it off the lot at 19,500. The dodge dearlership up here in AK is taking off about 40%.
