Well, I did it! After much debate with them, and tring 3 different exhaust's. I got the flowmaster 50 put on! It really does sound good! The Aero sounded like a pissed off crotch rocket and then we tried a bigger magnaflow, which just made it dead silent, and then the 50's. Wow, what a difference. I got the 50 delta flow SI/DO with tips, and I love it! When I have time tomorow after work I'll take a vid of it.

hey i've been doing alot of research on exhausts today, and i've got 4 people from exhaust shops that have been saying a magnaflow 18" muffler with stainless steel pipes is gonna sound the smoothest, improve power more then a flowmaster, and still gives you that powerful burly sound. This is a 3" SI/2.25 DO running about $450 installed

Sounds good man, I think we tried a 18in. magnaflow. It sounded ok, but not for me. lol. Mine totally sounds like a v8, at an idle..haha, but sounds good when I get up on it too.

I don't like the magnaflows that well, sure theyr well made, but the sound isn't what I want, especially for the price. Not much louder than stock, and you can't really beat a flow for flowing lol

btw how many freakin pages do we need over a muffler swap?

Did you feel any gain on the low end or are you just satisfied that it sounds good? I'm pretty sure I'm going with the 50 I just have to check with the shop and get a price.

Honestly, I havent really got up and drivin hard with it yet. Im going kinda easy because I filled up with gold, I mean gas, and Im going to see if I get any difference in mileage. But it for damn sure sounds better than the magnaflow.

I drive that way too but I'll probably have to try it just once with a new mod haha. Did you notice any MPG change or power with the Magnaflow over stock?

Haha, I thought that was coming. Well I really can't help out on that one because I had that magnaflow put on like 4 days after I got the truck! And I never really hot rodded it until I had 3000 miles on it. So I really can't talk good or bad. haha. My 50's mellow out pretty nicely on the highway, and I can tell a difference with my intake once it kicks in.
