Hemi MPG Question???
Right now I get about 9.2 in my Dodge. Idling just kills the fuel mileage. I have a mildly heavy foot also, and when I leave school, I sit in a line forever. People also think that it's the fuel in it. Accidentally put the wrong stuff in.
I have a 2007 RAM 4x4 Quad Cab, 20 inch stock tires, with the 5.7 Hemi (MDS) and I get 10-12 City and 18-19 Hwy. My route to work is just under 16 miles and mostly straight, if I set cruise control at 55mph, I get 21-22mpg, but I typically run 60mph; so, it's 18-19mpg.
Just picked up a 08 QC 4x4 hemi(msd) big horn....17 wheels. We put about 140 on her just this weekend driving around to show her off...got about 12-15 city and 17-19 highway. Cruise control set at 70 on the highway got around 18.2...bumped it up to 75 for 50 miles got about 17.6 according to the trip cpu. We will be taking a 5 hour trip to cali in a couple weeks...so I'll do it all on paper then to see the difference between the trip cpu and actual.

I get in the 14-15 mpg range without the camper and around 12ish with. My truck only has 2,000 miles on it, I am hoping to get better with some mods. But like a few have said, I got the Hemi because it is "SWEET," not for the mileage per se.
That's not bad, I get about 13.5 with the 35's. Throw about 450 lbs. of winch & grill guard on there and see where your mileage is at biotch...
