Default ANYONE know about a lift for the 1500?

Hey everyone. Havent been on here forever and now I am thinking about leveling out my 2004 Dodge 1500 2wd. Just wondering will a 2 inch leveling kit work for the front or will I have to go more than that to level out the truck? Also, if you level out a truck, how much if any are you adding to the top of the truck? Will it be taller or about the same? Anyone have a clue

2" is still slightly under level, and 2.5 is over leveled. i personally wanted as much height as possible and went for the 2.5". after installing i didnt like how it sat. front was way too high, so i added a 1" block to my leaf's and now its just right. but if you just want leveled, id go for the 2"

ehh. ive heard some guys use them. but you can pick them up at like autozone, and personally, it would be something id put in my suspension. i got daystars and seem to be great so far. dont forget about longer shocks and an alignment afterwards!

Hey mmstar23, does your truck ride stiff in the front or is it still smooth?

its not too bad. and you get use to it. but longer shocks will make it ride better than new so thats taken care of. and for you guys cranking your t bars....his truck is a 2wd, not a 4x4!
