Tire size question
I have a 2007 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi and 20" wheels. It's almost time for new tires and I would like to go bigger. I have not made any suspension mods. What is the biggest tire I can fit without any rubbing? I'm looking for wider and taller. I would consider a leveling kit if it makes a signifigant difference.
According to conversion those tires are 35/12.8R20. They should fit. Personally I would rather lift the truck first than to throw the biggest tires on, but that's just me. Besides, with a lift added you can put bigger tires on next.
Thanks. I'm not really looking to lift the truck. It's just time for new tires and I figured I would go with a more aggressive tire than the stock ones. And why not go a little bigger in the process. How do you like that Top Gun leveling kit? Does the 2.5" make the nose sit too high or does the 2" not quite bring it up to level? Or, would you suggest another?

Ain't no way your getting 35's on without a lift of some sort, and if the 325/60's are in fact 35x12.8 (I'll take Pirata's word for it, he knows his sh*t and I'm too lazy to pull up a conversion) you ain't even getting them on an '06+ coil over with a level kit without changing the A-arms or going to a wheel with more offset than the stock one.
Stick with a good old 33x12.5 or maybe something just a hair taller and thinner (34x11.5) if you can find a metric size around there...

the 2.5 leveling kit is fine for me. I have 34's on my truck and it more than holds it's own off road, which is where it counts in my book.

I have an 04 with 20's and 33's.
I also brought the front up around 3/4" with the torsion bars and put 2" drop shackles in the rear.
I had the goodyears but they were terrible in rain and snow.
I replaced them with Nitto Terra Grapplers in 305/55R20's.
I just love these tires. Quiet, smooth ride, easy over sharp bumps, etc.
They are much wider than stock and much more aggressive. In my opinion its better to go wider than with taller with tires unless you have a lift. Besides, I didn't have to calibrate the speedo!
