Has any 'downsized' to a 16" wheel/tire combo in order to take advantage of the wider selection and lower prices?
I have heard that 16" wheels will not fit, then further down the path I heard they will. Has anyone actually done this?

Howdy, new guy here...

Anyway, I went through this recently. Dodge's official position is that 16" wheels will not fit over the calipers. I was at the local truck shop over the weekend getting Swampers installed (pretty nice tires BTW) and the guy there told me that there are a couple of 16" wheels that will fit because of the shape, but it would be real tight around teh caliper and he wouldnt recommend it.

Its getting alot easier to find 17" tires. I got a set of Swamper SSR's and didnt pay an arm and a leg for them.
