light question

Default light question

I have a 02 ram with the fog lights , when i switch to HI beams my fogs switch off , is there a relay that would leave the fogs on when i turn on the high beams?

it's fed law you cant have on your high beams with your fog lights

That is SOP.

You'll need to jury rig it if you want to do that.

If you want to break the law, some non-law abiding guy on here did a DIY some time ago on how to run one short 8" wire to do the trick. Do a search in the DIY section.

If you can't find it let me know, I think I still have the before/after pics on my desktop PC...

ok thanks. i didn't not know it was illegal to have high beams and fogs on i just thought you couldn't have more than 6 lights on

like hammer said, theres a DIY. run a wire from one relay to the other and its done. my fogs and hi's work together...and i didnt have to do anything for it

Brite box makes a kit for this....Fogster SD8 is the model you want.....it simply keeps the fogs on when the brights are on, don't go with additional box that keeps both low and high filaments on or the Bulbzilla option....you will run a good chance of frying your lights and wires.
