Yeah, your plugs were due @ 35K. Change them asap and you should see an improvement.

 

I was talking to John M...your mileage doesn't seem too bad to me. You have a huge heavy 4x4 truck with big wheels...you can't except great mpg with a gasser. It'll more than likely get a little better as you put miles on her but I wouldn't expect a night and day difference. If you slack on maintenance down the road it will get worse though.

 

+1, Turn O/D off in town. Fyi And set air psi to placard in door jam, not whats written on the tire.
I'm getting about the same mpg with same exact truck, except I only have 185 miles on it.

 

ya, milage is pretty bad in these things, expecially city driving. 6000lb truck and a 6000lb foot. i am planing on turbo charging mine as soon as i can, hopefully that will fix my milage prob.

 

More power=more fuel...gotta pay to play man. If you're worried about mpg then FI is the last thing you want..
