Running lamps with power sunroof for the Ram SLT 1500
Hello,
I'm a recent owner of a 2005 quad cab SLT 5.7 hemi 2WD pickup. It came with the 'sun and leather' package which includes a power sunroof (factory installed).
One of the accessories I really liked was the set of 5 amber running lamps(that comes standard with the 3500). When they(professional technicians) tried to install it, they found that there's a conflict between a beam that runs underneath sheetmetal for the sunroof and the mounting point of the 3 lamps in the center.
My question is: Does anyone have this combination(sunroof + roof-mounted running lamps) setup? If so, did you use any other parts(other than Mopar), or did you have to do anything special to get it installed?
