Default Tube Steps

Well after less than a week of owning my truck my wife has decided the first accessory we need to get is a set of "tube steps" for the side to help her get in. What have you guys had the best fit/durability with? I'm looking for something SS, any pictures would be great.

don't be afraid of buying those off of ebay. they're really low priced, and people on the forum have been very satisfied with them. i'll try to remember the seller and get back to you.

I have black powdercoated back country steps, very happy with them. no chipping of the coat at all.

I'm going to disagree with "Feej" on this one (it's ok, he's used to it). I've had two sets of "no name" nerfs (one black, one chrome) and three sets of Westins (one black, one chrome & current is stainless) over the last 15 years or so.
The two no names gave me multiple issues. Paint peeling on the black ones, chrome pitting on the chrome ones, and I actually lost a step pad on the black ones (I think the brand was "Bully"), on the highway. The chrome Westins I had for four years and they were still in great shape when I traded the truck. The blacks were on my current truck the first two years I had it, before I decided to change up and go s/s & diamond plate on the thing. Sold the blacks to a member on another forum who was coming to central Fl. for a family vacation and he was thrilled as with just a quick washing they could have passed for brand new.
Nope, sorry, I buy a set to last as long as the truck. If it's $200 for ebay ones or $300 for Westins, I'm getting the Westins EVERY TIME...

i didn't mean crap as quality bars, i meant good bars from ebay suppliers, though i didn't clarify that at all it seems.

some guy on the forum bought a good set (i think they were westins) for really cheap on ebay and thought they would be knock offs cuz of the price, but they were real.

Oh, ok, my bad. My take was you were saying to just get a set of cheap no-names off of e-bay. They are out there, some guys love 'em, others have bought and said they are total crap. Kinda like ebay CAI's...

I have Laverne side nerf bars on my Quad cab. They are stainless steel and clean up real easy. Very strong and as I am told will not rust. They've been through one winter already and still look like new.

My truck came with Aries. The previous owner said they were easy to install, and they seem to be holding up well after a couple of years.
