I'm gonna get rid of the toolbox to have more room for hauling wood and gear, wanted to see if anyone has one or the other of these, or any other suggestions for a tonneau.

So far thinking Lund Genesis Seal & Peel, or Extang Tuff Toneau iii

Its gotta be a soft, no money for a hard tonneau
Don't want snaps, heard too many bad things
Gotta be able to take being loaded with 3-4 inches of snow on top

Thanks for any input

I had an extang black maxx before I got the wing and in cold weather the snaps are a pain in the butt. I now have a Access lorado and love it. It is a velcro type one and works great.

Mines a Hard top ARE Cover and it looks good to me at least. The lines are suppose to match the lines of the hood. I posted some pics a while ago when I first got it on let me check and see if I can find the post

Truxedo makes a nice soft cover with no snaps. I had the Truxedo Deuce on my F150 and will go with another Truxedo on the RAM when it get the funds to do so.

I know $ is always an issue but personally id save up some extra cash and spring for a retractable cover. My girlfriends parents have 1 and i think its slick as hell.

i agree, but unfortuantely not in a position to wait. In fact, I wanted the Extang but ordered the Lund only because it shipped a week faster. both have had great reviews by 100+ so i guess it's not a big deal.

Ideally I'd just be able to keep the tool box, but it gets in the way with all the hauling i've been doing lately.

I use the Trifecta. No snaps, no tracks its a soft cover, it does handle snow, last year we had 24 inches overnight, no problem.

It folds up nicely and removes easily. I have a bird cage I transport around for my parrot ( 2' x 3' x 6' ), nice to be able to remove the tanneau cover easily when I have this in the bed.

Only problem with a soft covers is that you hear it when the rear window is open.

I agree with RaiderJay about the Extang. I had a hell of a time getting the Extang on my old Dakota in the winter. I'm going to get one at some point for my Ram, but I'm looking at either the Access or BakFlip.
