Default Suggestions for Lift

I have an 07 2wd qc and am wanting to do a small lift on it. I was thinking about the 3" spring spacers and a 1" block on the back. What do yall think?
Also, what about a kit on the internet/price? just post links...And i know Hammer will chime in after everyone else posts and clarify, and then MMstar will say he has done it and what to do...but let me know!

That should be good. but eben better, they have drop spindles for 2wd that lift the truck 3". It keeps all the geometry the same. 3" spacer will make the geometery outta wack.

Well hey you get what you pay for, and spindles are the right way to do it. Those are probanly the best lift becuase You don't have to deal with any crossmember extensions and spacer like a 6" lift that will creak over time. Theres no unneccessary wear like a spacer will give you due to the a-arms wearing out the ball joints becuase they are over extended. A spindle lift replaces one single part that is made with better quality and won't wear out. You can go with the spacer and block route but a spindle kit is the better way to go.

spindles are indeed the "right" way. 3" coil spacers are a hell of a lot of lift for the coil. your upper control arms will more than likely, like to smack the top of the shock bucket.go with a 2.5" i have been overall, pretty happy with mine. they are daystar and cost me a few bucs under a $100. with a 2.5" you will (atleast mine did, as well as a few others) have your front end higher than the rear. i put in a 1" block and its just about pefect. maybe a little lower than the rear, but to the naked eye that desnt know, its pretty level. any questions just ask!

okay i do have a few...A spring shop down the street can make new springs (front and back) for me....if i were to just get a 1" block and 3" longer springs/new shocks, would that require ANYTHING else?

Default Leveling Kit Question

I'm looking at this product,
http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/share...t=products.asp
It's a 2'' front lift kit with new shocks for my 08 ram 1500 2wd. However there is a special note saying that "In some instances the 2" spacer will not work on 2007-2008 Ram 1500, 1.5" spacers or new springs or new spindles are a better option for these trucks."
What would this instance be that it wouldn't work. I am highly considering this front lift kit to act as a leveling kit and then throw a 1'' or 1.5'' rear block with new u bolts for a cheap and easy lift.
