Why No True-Duals On A Hemi?
So I called the three shops in my area that do exhaust jobs just to get an estimate on how much it would be to put true-duals on my truck. Whe they found out that I had a new Hemi all of them said that they can't do it. And I could really get an answer to why not from any of them. I'm not planning on doing it now, but maybe some time in the future. Is there some kind of an under lying issue here that I should know about? Thanks.

The guys at the shop I take my vehicles to were hesitant at first, but only because it was a 2008 and wanted to ensure that their wouldnt be any real issues with the installation and fit of the exhaust (but, this was about 6 months ago). Not sure why the hemi makes the difference there?
Personally, I dont think the 'drone' is that bad. Its bearable, not to mention if I am just driving along on cruise, I have the music up loud enough where this isnt an issue anyway.

That makes sense. I've been wondering about the MDS. I've never heard the drone in person, but I listened to a few clips and watched a few vidoes online of Hemi exhausts. It didn't seem too bad. What I was planning on doing getting rid of everything behind the cats and running a true dual setup from there with an h-pipe somewhere between the cats and mufflers. I was thinking Magnaflows with turndowns.

in my opinion(take it for what its worth). If thoose exhaust shops won't do it,then there not a good shop.I've talked to all the big name ones around where i live, and they said they would do it no problem.they didn't see a reason why any other shop would'nt have done it.If you can't find anyone else to do it maybe you could do it yourself?
