Lifting a 2wd truck is no ways near as evil as lowering a 4wd truck...
+1 for sure

How many people lift their 4x4 trucks and still never take them off-road? Why do you have to have a 4x4 truck to lift it? My wife wants to lift her Ram, but I know she'll never take it off-road. She won't even let me put anything in the bed because it might scratch it! She just likes the look, and likes being up above the cars.

I see nothing wrong with lifting a 4x2, it's your truck, and they look good lifted with big meats on them.

I have a 4x4, and I have no plans on lifting it, and rarely do I take it on an unpaved road. I bought a 4x4 for the snow we get, so I'm not sitting at green lights spinning the rear wheels.

Lifted 4x2 would make a cool DD!

Wow, Had me fooled, I thought it was a 4x4

I never lifted my 4x4 when I had one. I got it for the 2 times a year it snows here too. After actually needing it about 4 times in 5 years, I decided that I didn't need to waste the gas and power of dragging around a transfer case and front axle.
It will probably snow all winter now that I don't have one anymore

My 2wd sits high enough for me to look down loose tops in most cars!!!!

My wife's 2wd is the tallest truck we've ever owned, stock from the factory. When Hurricane Ike was on it's way, she wanted to put it in the garage. I stood in the bed and watched carefully while she pulled it in, and it cleared the garage door by less than an inch! But then it was too long, and stuck out through the door! It's just as well. The tree that fell hit the garage anyway, not the Ram!

Most 4x4's sit at about the same height as a 2wd truck stock. Some 4x4's sit pretty low surprisingly...

Yeah, I would never take it off road anyways. I just use it to tow the seadoos and haul things for my grandma. It does snow here a lot but I just throw sand bags in the back and it does fine, even in 3-4 inches. But when it is more than that, I drive my mom's explorer, put that puppy in awd and I can drive through almost anything. But I never need to go out when we got that much snow anyways.
