Default Steering grind noise

Hey everyone, I am having a problem pinpointing AND even worse trying to show this problem to the shop that is covering the warranty. The problem is the truck will make the grinding hydralic like noise when I turn the steering wheel and pull out of a driveway or parking spot. It does it both warm and cold.
If its the steering pump, I would like it covered under the warranty before its up!

Oh yes, I have a 2004 Dodge RAM HEMI QuadCab 2wd with 110,000 KMS.

Thanks

It's either your pump or your hose has a hole in it and youve lost power steering fluid. its a common problem. it happened to me in the winter. get it checked soon.

Is it like a grinding of metal on metal, or just a whining noise? My truck I noticed it starting to do that the other day. Just a little whining noise though.
