Default it's not just me

ah ha

I thought i was going crazy!! I have been having this "signal right truck signals left, signal left, no signal at all, turn on the hazards, and then I get left signal," Bullsheit.. good grief..

So has anyone cured this problem without throwing a pile of parts at their ride?

I am wondering if there is a calibration the dealer can do to refresh the pcm?

I am almost wondering if it isn't a rubbed wire in the dash though, if I clunk the tilt down, it usually fixes the problem for a second or two.

Any suggestions.

Thanks.

Cool It's baack.

I kinda forgot about it for a while. If I set the tilt just right I got no problem. Makes me suspect I got bad wire in the harness near the tilt pivot. I will pull it apart and advise as soon as I get some decent weather. been livin with -30 -40 b.s. latley.

I have an 06 QC... same problem....one dealer told me that they reset the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) to solve the problem.

I call BS on the multi function switch. Mine did it last winter for 4 monthes, then mysteriously quit for 8 monthes, now about december it came back.....Can't prove that its weather related, but I think it is.

Default turn signals and running lights

My turn signals, and wipers also malfunction. i just lost rear running lights and license plate lights 2 nights ago. brake, turn and hazzards all work. checked all bulbs and fuses all ok. put in new turn signal (switch)modulator in the steering collumn, not the fix. Then put in new front modulator, not the problem. master fuse has power, but 3 mini fuses have no power, the relays work in either place so assuming they are both good. We dont have any clue from here. loose wire or possibly a small part of fuse box no good ? is that even possible. Lastly does it matter to disconnect power to the fuse box before replacing the front modulator, we didnt cut power, just unbolted turned upside down took off old modulatoe and plugged in the new one. still no rear lights.
