When I got mine, I had the opportunity to see recorded dyno's at my local performance shop. The Dynatechs posted the biggest gains, but the Pacesetters were a close second and I could get them and have a local shop put an awesome ceramic coat on them for less then half what the Dynatechs were uncoated.

I already had an aftermarket cat back, so basically you unbolt the exhaust manifold then cut after the cats, taking it off in one piece. The LT's will extend about 16-18" farther back, so you can hold the cat up and see where you need to cut the pipe to weld them back in. Then get some wire and shrink tubing and splice the O2 sensor wires so they'll reach the rear bungs. No problems, no CELs after 2 years.
You just need to check and re-torque the headers bolts occasionally, I do it when I change the oil. I've had no real problem with any loosening much, maybe one or two may need a quarter turn.
Most important thing is when you install the headers, tighten the bolts (don't go crazy with the aluminum threads in the block), then run the truck for about 20 mins, letting them get as hot as they'll get, then (being careful not to burn yourself) hit the bolts again.
Pull the front fender well guards off when you do it, you can get to every bolt through the tire wells...
