Headers won't make it any louder, but will deepen the exhaust note a good bit. Give it more of that '70s muscle car sound. At least that's what my LT headers did on my Hemi...

i dont think anybody has heard of the v force mufflers but i have true dual system out behind the tires with v force's, and the truck is f**king loud , were talking about people walking on a sidewalk doing the point and talk thing - i also have a manual trans. but i always hear the big talk , big game "flowmasters" on the dodge ram. quite frankley , i blow those f**kin ****s out the water. i have not heard a truck out rev me with mufflers , the only way to beat me is to straight pipe , with the ugly sound. and even at idle , (partly because of my cams as well) you know my truck is gonna be loud at take off.

loud exhaust is great if you have a show car or a muscle car...

My 68 D100 is a little sport truck, and has Summit Stage 1 intake, Holley 2300 carb, hedman headers and purple horny glass packs, with a fresh motor with a standard build. Working to tune the carb for the cooler weather from Texas to Tennessee and get rid of the lean pops when the motor is cold in the morning.

However, I live way out in the country and this is my play truck. My daily driver, 07 Ram 1500ST is QUIET and will stay that way.

Be respectful of your neighbors.

Howard

Dynomax Bullets. Hella loud, nice "flowmaster roar" on up rev, somewhat of a glass pack pop on the way down. That with some decent 3 1/2" tips and it will crack pavement!!!
