Real good cam, but you should look into the KRC210, little better HP gains, pretty good bit more torque. I've been planning the mod for over a year but ran into $ issues, I'll have it before too long.
You should at least do retainers and springs as well...

With really aggressive HP Cams you would need heads. The Comp 260 and KRC210 are designed more for heavier trucks, especially quad cabs and 4x4's where more low end torque is much more beneficial to high end HP. So with either of those Cams, heads are not necessary.
You'll get awesome lope if you get an SCT tuner and have a custom tune written specifically to give you that really good lope.

The ones recommended by the manufacturer. Likely gonna need a custom tune as well.

Comp cams will have spring/retainer/lock recommendations. (possibly listed under 'recommended additional parts', or some such)

Is it this one? If so, please note where it says: "Slight tuning modifications and programmer required."

For the springs and such, I would suggest calling them, and asking. My guess is, the stock springs aren't good for that much lift. But, that's only a guess.

I found the springs to work for the cam-
Trick Flow® by PAC Racing Beehive Valve Springs TFS-16918-16. Should I need anything else besides the springs?
