Here are some links to my setup. The lights are 4" in diameter and have 55W bulbs. They work pretty well. Also, check out my signature pic.

Hope that helps....they mount on the cross member. Lots of folks like the Hella 500s which are about 6" across.

they aren't "driving lights" but they do light up the night nicely:
