I'm sorry guys, i know its another exhaust thread.....I'm just looking for ideas
Well inspection time is here and my truck will not pass with a dumped muffler. I was thinking sice everyone and there mother has duals out the back, that i would go with a single exit in front of the passenger tire. Now i DO NOT want the super Truck that Gibson offers, i dont like the look of the square tips.
I was going to make it myself, i'm taking the old flowmaster 40 series off and i wanna use a Super 44....I'm actually asking to see if anyone had any pics of some tip ideas.
I actually like the look of this one but its not a flowmaster, but atleast you can get the idea

Whats up Ed,
I did the exhaust in front of the wheel. Here in TX, as long as its 4 inches past back of cab, you'll be fine... not sure where you are. I attached (hopefully) a picture of my exhaust. Went for the dual side exit. I think it looks nice.... Its flowmaster 40. A little louder than I wanted... I get some drone in the cab especially around 2300 rpms. Nice... VERY NICE sound outside though.... Your call
Hope that helps,
Tex

Not a kit. I got the muffler at Pep Boys... $80... Then a place called Xpress Automotive Service on 59 here in Houston installed and gave me the tips for $220. They do all the bending and welding there in the shop while I watched. Great group of guys if anyone in Houston ever needs exhaust work.
