Please, someone tell me how I can tell what size ring gear I have in my rear differential? I've been searching everywhere with no help. I have an '06 1500 Megacab with 3.73 gears. I'm looking to change the cover so I can drain/fill without removing. I read somewhere there was a tag on the axle, but the tag did not state the size. Thanks for your help.

 

I believe the Megacab uses the 2500 10.5" rearend.

 

Yes, the Mega Cab sits on a 2500 chassis, complete with 10.25 rear end.
