Default Infinity Replacement Speakers

Need info on speakers that will work for 7 speaker system in qaud cab. The 6x9's in the front doors are blown. Have had the dealer replace both sets twice but am fed up with the quality. Have checked crutchfield but what they list is a 2 and 3 way speaker. The originals are bass only. That and crutchfield does not ship here, (Alberta, Canada). Which is a shame because of their prices on car audio. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I bought my speakers on Amazon.com at about 1/2 the price Amazon was asking. I installed Infinity 6 1/2" componants in the front; the woofers in the door, and the tweeters replaced the dash tweeters. Infinity 6 1/2 coax in the rear door, but it would probably be easier to put 5 1/4"s in there. Did this at the same time I put a new Kenwood head unit. Put an Alpine amp under the drivers seat, and a 10" JL subwoofer in a single box under the drivers side rear seat with an Alpine mono amp. It did nothing but rock then.

Get a 4ch amp maybe around 70w a ch and get alpine type r 6x9's for the front and alpine types sps600 for the rears. I have this with 2 type r 12" subs, 2 500w mono amps and a kicker 700w amp. The speakers alone sound pretty good bass wise but components are the best and way expensive.

one of my tweeters blew a year ago...

and my driver side door speaker blew about a week ago.

IMO those speakers are garbage.

I was never into 'audio' and had to have an aftermarket system. But geeze, these things are junk!

I read somewhere on here that they have extended the warranty on the speakers due to a problem with them.

^^^ really? That would be great!

Although, myself, i had bought my truck used 2 years ago. I purchased a warranty along with it, although it was the warranty a step below bumper to bumper.

I rather sink my money into performance upgrades instead of repairing audio.
