If yours doesn't "shudder" with the OD off, then I would deffinately say its the MDS. I totally agree that there should be a flash to delay the MDS though. I wonder if any of the aftermarket programmers are able to do that????
Superchips Flashpaq 3815 (for the HEMI Ram) does NOT allow disabling MDS. Many on HemiTruckClub are asking the Superchips rep there to escalate this option to upper management. BTW -- It was MSD who nixed the custom tunes when it bought SC.
I've seen reports, where the Diablo Predator U7137 (just released for the Hemi Ram) will allow disabling MDS.
