Why do you want to make it hard to see? Do you mean just so it doesn't stick out or are you worried about theft? Would it fit in the cubby hole under the radio?

The antenna I have is magnetic, so I can take it off and put it on when needed.

Just put the cb in the glovebox or center console and drill some holes for the wires

I have an 03 QC SLT with the manual 4x4. because of the 4x4 shifter location, its pretty tough to sit in the middle of the bench anyway, so I mounted mine on the face of the cupholder. when the cup holder is flipped up (Closed) i can see the face of the cb perfectly, when down (open), It sits pretty well hidden under there, and is just as useful.
