Default Loud Exhaust

Hey guys, I wanna make my 04 Ram Hemi as loud as it can be legally, so far I wanna put long tube headers and make it true dual 2 1/2 straight back w/ no cats, and was just trying to figure out what mufflers to make it loud, so far I've heard Flowmaster's super 44's and Cherry Bomb Extremes are good, but I REALLY want it loud, any help would be good.

I had a super 44 and just the other day I put in a summit glasspack. Its a fourth of the price and a lot louderr and just the same performance. If I were you I would put high flow cats and 3in straight pipe. But if you want no cats and muffler go with a glasspack. Any of em.

Flowmaster 10s are way the hell louder than Super 44s. Cherry Bomb Extreme is even louder, and still has a good exhaust note. Glasspacks are a good way to go if you really want noise.

Yea right now I have single exhaust with a Cherry Bomb glasspack on it and it is damn loud even single, but I don't wanna keep replacing the glasspacks every year becuase they burn out, I want a good loud muffler, I'm leaning more toward the Cherry Bomb Extreme now.

I had a Vette that still had the cats, but I had Hooker ceramic coated headers and straight pipe all the way back. I took out the resonator and the mufflers. It still passed all of the emission tests.

The only thing was when I went by a cop, I put the clutch in and coasted by because of the sound. It truly sounded like a NASCAR.

I don't think mufflers are required to pass inspection - only catalytic converters. You may want to check with the local authorities. LOL

why make it loud to begin with is my question to you . its anoying to hear a loud *** nice truck .it sounds like you have no money to buy a muffller when you drive buy .. just get duals with a nice low sounding muffle thats the ticket.

my 02 dodge ram we just got has the gibson super truck exhaust. A tad to loud for me gonna go with a exhaust that goes farther out the back and is a tad quieter.
