Which 2002 is the last year of the 2nd generation 2500s. Where as the 3rd gen 1500s started in 2002.

i could be wrong on that being the right part for your truck, if it were me, i wouldnt buy it until i was 100% sure.

It would work if your throttlebody points straight up maybe like the older ones if you have a 5.2L or 5.9L Won't work on the 4.7L or 5.7L Hemi.

i have the 5.9L 360 motor and teh throttle body does sit strait up and down
i have aholley 14" round filter on top now but it is pulling alot of hot air and made my mileage alot worse off

That will work. The motor is the same, it didn't change when the body style changed.
