Shock question
I'm sure this has been discussed before but it's been sometime since I've visited the forum so I'm going to throw it out anyway.
I have a 2006 Quad Cab Laramie with 50,000 miles and it's come to my attention the shocks are starting to get a little weak. Not that they were very good in the first place but I'd like to replace them with something better than the O.E.M.
So how about you RAM owners. Give me some suggetions on what to go with.

Mine is brand new but we tow a lot. I am thinking about the rear shocks and using the Rancho RS9000's I think? They are the 9-way adjustable ones with the **** at the bottom. It adjusts how much the shock gives to control the squat factor. A buddy of mine has a 2500 and he pulls a gooseneck with a tractor on it. He uses them and swears by them. I think they are about $85 per shock and seem pretty easy to install. You can go to the Rancho website to check the application chart for your part#.
I installed the Rancho RS5000's this spring. Made by Monroe, they have a promotion every spring, buy 3, get one free. This spring, Sears had them on sale at the same time, sweet. I am happy with my choice. The ride is a touch more firm, but it reduced the rear end from walking.
I had them on my last truck and the made good on the lifetime warranty, repaling all four shocks when the rubber bushings rotted out after 6 or 7 years.
