How you guys doing? I am new to the forum and as of 2 years this week actually new to being a dodge owner. I have a 2005 ram quad cab w/Hemi, I will post pictures as soon as I have time to wash it this week. I have done all the normal performance mods, exhaust, cold air intake, and chip but I am wondering now what I should do next for performance. Outside the bolt-ons I have also installed a leveling kit and bigger more aggressive tread tires. I am thrilled with the way my truck runs and love going light to light with new mustangs. My problem is I got dusted by a subaru a couple weekends ago. I know that I shouldnt be suprised and I am not, but he walked me, I didnt even have a prayer. Looking for my next performance mod that I am able to do with pretty standard hand tools and doesnt take my truck down for a couple days, its an everyday driver. Let me know fellas, also if you know where I can have it tuned, I know that will help. I live in Cleveland, OH. Thanks.

oooh no, not what i meant at all. short of a blower/turbo, your only chance is some 16 year old who hasn't yet figured out how to move the stick while pressing the pedal at the same time.

but headers are the next step for what you're lookin to do.

I was never expecting to beat an impreza. But, you guys know how it is once you start, you always have to keep going. So long tube headers are what you recommend? Is there enough access to do that on the ground, or do I need to remove the front tires?

the tires will be your workbench to put your tools on. jacking up the front end will give you a little more room too.

Long Tube headers do give you the biggest gains, but remember that putting in LT headers will mean you need to do something with your cats, either get rid of them or relocate them. Some sort of trip to an exhaust shop will likely be necessary after you put LTs in.

I know thats not what you meant. I was just being a dick. I say go with headers (as stated) then look at maybe upgrading your tuner to the diablo, then look at some high flow cats, e fan, new gears (4.56), replace that really restrictive Y pipe in the exhaust, then if its not enough look at some new cams, and if you do all that you will have a truck thats quite a bit faster. I am sure there is some easier things i missed. I am in history class and I am bored off my ***.

easiest way is to remove wheels and wheel liners and you'll be lookin right at them... I did have to go thru the bottom on some of the bolts...
