Default Magnaflow 16699 exhaust

So how many of you guys have this system and what do you think about it. I am interested in this because it is supposedly very tame, yet less restrictive vs. the stock setup. I don't want something that is real loud, I would like to be able to talk to my passengers without yelling. Can I expect this with this system. Also, are any of you guys also running headers with this cat-back? If so what kind and did it change the tone of the exhaust (assuming you had this cat-back on with the factory headers first)? Lastly, does anyone have personal pre/post dyno results after adding this?

Thanks ahead of time.

I've got this system on mine no headers. I expected it to be a bit louder than it is. It's fairly quite when cruising and loud at WOT. I got the side exhaust because I hall a trailer and didn't want the exhaust fumes in my face with a rear exhaust. EAsy to install

I didn't buy the magnaflow catback. I bought a magnaflow muffler and pre bent madrel pipes from a company on ebay. I removed the three mufflers and installed the setup. that and my cai the truck screams. If I get on it you can't hear yourself think in the cab. I love my magnaflow. oh yeah it is 3" in 2.5" duals out

I have the 2 dumps at an angle out the side before the rear tire. Lotta interior noise, but it's beautiful noise. No drone, pure rumble. Luv it! Now I just have to order up me one of the Predators that are on the market Finally to turn off that annoying MDS.

I also have this exact system. Easy to install, took off both resonators. Sound is great at WOT, a little tame at cruising speed. I have a two year old that easily falls asleep in the back seat to give you an idea of how tame it really is. I would recommend it.

I have the magnaflow 16699 installed and love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty (the salt on the roads here in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here magnaflow 16699, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install.
