You can look up the specs of it online. All I know off the bat is it is a Mosfet 50wx4 and is Sirius ready, with an Auxiliary input which I use to run my Ipod through (Thats the audio cable below the stereo in the picture). I just bought 4 pioneer speakers that I plan on it driving power to, and I am sure it will do the job fine. I have had it almost 2 years now and love it. It has 3 tilt angles (I dont use them, but still), 3 brightness settings for the screen, a separate subwoofer control, and all the usual settings (bass, trbl, balance, fade, etc). Personally, I love the blue LED... Looks sweet at night. When I bought it, it was about $180 from a local car shop. I am sure you can find it cheap as hell if you just look online a bit.

Check out Crutchfield.com - they will show you all of the ones that fit and they give you the install kit and wiring harness. The '08s have that weird shaped opening. I have one, too. No new head unit yet, though.

The stock radio is 66W.
You have to get an insulation kit to install a regular DIN sized stereo.

I just installed a double din Pioneer Avic-F90bt. I purchased a new center bezel that's made for the oem navigation radios directly from my local Dodge dealer for $129. uhhhh, I love it. Forget those tiny single dins, you can pick up a Pioneer AVH4000dvd new frm ebay for like $330 shipped. It's a 7" touch screen dvd player. That and you new bezel will be like $500. Only way to go especially since that huge hole is crying out for help....lol
The trucks are pretty rough on the road and there's nothing to rest your wrist on to keep your hand steady. I bet it's a PIA to hit those tiny itty bitty buttons on those single din cd players! I would rather have kept my factory unit than to downgrade to one of those. That's my .02
