Default All 4.7s

I have a list of performance mods that i would like to do soon. I already have a CAI, muffler, and chip. Heres my list

cam
headers
highflow cats
SUPERCHARGER
turbo??(dont know if there is a turbo for 4.7)
throttle body spacer
throttle body
4.56 gears

What are the brands that yall suggest for some mods. And if anyone has any of these mods, then how are you liking it?? How much power difference??

throttle body spacer wont do anything. a fastman throttle body would be good. my 4.56 gears are motive gears. they are good. I got them from airram. cams you can get from KCRperformance would be a good company to get stuff from. 206 cams I have heard good things. i havent heard of any turbo or superchargers that are bolt on. You can modify different ones. with money anything is possible. I know one of the guys with a 4.7 supercharged said it didn't really do all that much for the amount of money. With the cams I say go for a SCT tuner as well. those custom tunes will help a lot too.

i agreee..go with a high perf. tuner for sure ,,sure does help and as far as a supecharger ...well im still waiting for them to build one specifically for this small 287 ci v8. airram also is where ive gotten most my mods you can check him out at airram.com builds and sells parts specifically for the 4.7 . next mods i would say the gears if you have the money it seems like those would be the best perf.mod .. if you have a 2wd even cheaper! but i have cams , headers.......blah blah and my tuner is the best mod so far. and im actually going to go for 4:56 gears next.

If you are getting a cam, you should get heads to take advantage of the cam while everything is apart....real horsepower there...

If i were you, i would go with a turbo over a supercharger anyday. IMO i think that there is more risk of damage with a supercharger. Turbos can be dangerous to your engine too but there is a brand out there that seems to have the benifits of a turbo but it is mounted back with the exhaust piping.
heres the link: http://www.ststurbo.com/
I have talked to them about using their system to turbocharge an 08 hemi, and while they dont have a true bolt on kit for the 08, they do have universal kits.
There is another 3rd gen guy on here that had one installed on his truck, I talked to him too, and the only reason that i decided not to turbo charge my next truck was the fact in order to get the most out of the turbo you had to change out your injectors for higher capacity. Also a programmer is a must for their turbo to work at or above 3psi.
hope this helps

Throttle body Spacers DO NOT WORK on a Multi Port Fuel Injected Engine!!! PERIOD!!!!

1) 4.56 gears
2) ELECTRIC FAN
3) INTAKE
4) HIGH FLOW EXHAUST - HIGH FLOW "Y" PIPE into a 3" TRUE SINGLE FROM "Y" PIPE BACK
5) H/O cams -
6) SUPERCHIPS is DECENT but SCT is BETTER but more expensive & needed for BOOST!
7) HEADERS - GIBSON / JBA
8) F&B 70MM throttle body

9) BOOST would be the best way to make lots of HP BUT make sure you run a good Air Fuel Ratio Gauge. The 4.7L stock pistons do NOT take well to boost..> AT ALL! If your wanting to boost your engine then you would be better off going with a set of our FORGED SCAT RODS and ROSS PISTONS for insurance. But you can get away with 8-10PSI if your careful and have/USE an AIR FUEL RATIO GAUGE...

We are working on a supercharged 4.7L packaged right now. It will be based off the 2003-2004 COBRA lower intake manifold. With it you can mount the EATON M112, WHIPPLE CHARGER 2.3L & 3.4L blowers as well as the KENNEY BELL blowers made for the Cobra.

As you can see in the pictures... we have the ability to mount them... we just need to align the pulleys and plug the sensors up.

First off let me say that airram.com has some of the best products out there. I love how your showing the 4.7 some love lol. But sorry if increasing boost is adding a turbo or sc, but how would i add boost. and what would i need to do according to adding boost??
