The only truck that isn't a diesel that looks good with stacks in the Lil' Red Express....

I wouldn't bother putting the exhaust through the body. I was watching Trucks once and they put a through the body exhaust on a truck...I kinda thought it was a dumb idea, plus you run the risk of messin up the paint/body.

I'll trade my 82 cummins for your truck. Did I mention that its a cummins generator? Probably not. Good luck with that though. LOL. As for the exhaust, I would say it might look cool if it came out below the tail lights beside the bumper. Other than that, out the side will burn, bubble, and chip the paint. But its your truck ,dont listen to anybody else. Just make sure you do it safe.

hey disturbedgator, if you do wanna put stacks on maybe think about cutting them short at bed level with the rail. just a thought, kinda of a way to hide the stacks with out showing them off ya know. oh and good luck with the trade.

LBs Laramie is not asking about stacks. The exhaust comes out at the bottom of the bed on the side and not through the top. I say if you like that look, go for it! I am not too sure that your exhaust would not damage the paint but that is my thoughts. I have not seen a Ram with a through body exhaust. If you do it, post pics so we can see what it looks like.

just put it through the body like where this Lightnings exhaust come out. I think it would look pretty cool.

i ran mine through bottom of bed behind wheels. used ss bracket for 4 inch light as template. 3.5 tips with 20 degree angle cut. cut mounting flange off light bracket, bent to fit body contour, used as trimring. you have to route pipes between spring and frame. OK if you dont carry a lot of weight. cant say much about body twist. fishing ponds are extent of my off roading.
