Default new 2006 2500

I just got a new 2006 2500 cummins diesel ram with 59000 miles for $13900.00 it is a st with towing package with auto. It is a quad cab They only offered $500.00 for my 98 1500 quad 318 ram so I kept it also. How was the price and what should i watch out for with the diesel Randy

Sounds like a great deal to me. At least in north carolina thats a good deal. I cant believe they only offered 500 for your 98, good choice keeping it. You might wanna post this in the diesel forum, you'll get better responses there. Congrats on the new ram

the milage is great but the price of diesel hurts. And the nc tag price on a 2500 is crazy because of the load capacity. Is yours 2 or 4 by? I got 14 mpg wita a 17 foot trailer with 150 bales of hay from edenton to camden Randy

Yea i would guess the price of diesel outweighs the MPG. Once the war is over tho, deisel should go down, whenever thatll be. Mines 2wd. Wishing it was 4 lol. Thats insanely good mileage for towing all that.

thats a sick deal, there are people online trying to sell diesels at local dealerships for around 18 grand when the truck has like 110,000 miles on it

I found it online and when I went there they were asking 19000 when I pulled out the paper that I had printed out they said that it was wrong and called the used car manager who checked his book and said that they listed the price they had given for it instead. They honored the online price so I was happy. If it as good a truck as my 98 1500 with a 318 I will be happy. i put 180000 miles on the 98 with almost no problems (2 water pumps and a radiator) of course normal wear and tear items like ball joints, breaks and I would drive it anywhere right now no tranny problems at all Randy
