Red face U-Connect problems

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi V8. When I first got the truck I would hit the button for the U-Connect it would lower the speakers and the voice would come on to be able to use it. Now I have a phone with bluetooth and want to be able to use the U-Connect and now when I hit the button on the rearview mirror nothing happens. I called Dodge and they said that I have to bring it in to the dealership. Has anyone else had this problem, what did you do to rectify this issue. Please help. Thank You.

Ok, I'll ask - you did go through the phone pairing process successfully, right?

I wasn't able to because now when I press the U-Connect button nothing happens. I haven't been able to get to the pairing process.

The dealer must check it with their StarTool scanner.
