Default Just put in the ebay CAI!

I just finished installing the ebay chromeintakes CAI with a K&N filter. Took only about 30 minutes even with my dad and me doing some extra bracing. Sounds AWESOME. Really complements my dumped exhaust as well. Not to mention it looks pretty nice too. I can feel a bit extra kick too, especially around 1500 or so RPM.

I'm sure you will enjoy the CAI. Hey, I see you have a ooga horn. I have been wanting to put the one I had on my last truck on my Ram. How do you have yours hooked up? Is it directly to your horn button on the wheel or what?

Mines a bit ghetto rigged. I got the horn at advanced auto parts and i bought a button seperately and it also came with wiring. I soldered the end of the wiring to the button and placed it next to the steering wheel, right by the security alarm light. Find a place to run the wire through the firewall and mount the horn and plug the wires to the horn and battery. Obviously you can ground the black but I just decided to hook it straight to the battery because I mounted it near the battery.
The reason I did it this way is you've gotta have the stock horn seperate to pass inspection. I love the OOGA!! haha
Let me know if you've got more questions.

Here's the new CAI-

BEAR- Here's where I have the button mounted, There is holes to screw the button down, but I didn't want to drill into the dash so i rigged up some custom velcro!

And here is where the actual horn is set up at. After 3 months or so, engine heat has not been a problem.

Bummer that the CIA doesn't eliminate the Hemi Hat where the restriction is.
Looks nice though.

I didn't know that about the Hemihat. Thanks for pointing that out lxman1.
Also, isn't that horn suppose to angle downward for moisture and water purposes? i spray my engine off regularly and that would give lots of problems.

If you notice on mine, it is the same one. I eliminated the Hemi hat. I did not want the filter that low in the fender wheel because of water possibly getting in there. I just bought a new 3" to 3" sleeve to attach the tubing to the throttle body, and had to drill a hole for the IAT sensor. The sound without the Hemi hat is freakin' outrageous.
