Yeah, those plastic clips are a bear, until I figured out how to get them out. I used a thin metal putty knife to get under the lip of the tab, then pushed it down and pulled up on the grill insert and they popped out pretty easily. After the first one using a screwdriver and taking like 10 minutes, I used the technique I described and it worked great.
