Hoss how did you get that switch to be mounted like that in the dash all flush because i like the stock appearence

 

the place he mounted his switch is teh same ive seen for alot of the setups. thats where i have mine mounted as well. the same way. Its on a blankoff just pop it out, find teh center of it and drill your whole and pop the switch in and pop the blankoff panel back into its hole. easy. The whole install of these lights is super easy.

 

^Exactly right, I found it to be fairly simple. Although I'm still on the look out for a more "OEM" looking switch than what came with the hellas.

 

Well, I just found another Christmas present. I too don't have fog lights, and was entertaining the idea of getting the oem kits, but Ive found those to be a little pricy. Now I want the foglights and these "grill" lights. Damn ya'll!!!

 

I like mine - also ordered the OEM fog light kit. should be here Monday or Tuesday.

dead switch?? that green swicth comes with the hella 500 kit. is that what your talking about? or the blankoff that the switch is mounted on?

Do you mean that piece that they mounted their switch on? If so, then you might not have it. I know that my truck doesn't have that. So I need to figure out where to mount mine. Oh yea, I just picked some up tonight! I'm hoping to install them tomorrow, and I'll try to get up some pics.

 

Mounted my hella 500ff's tonight. Would be great except I was carrying the flimsy box they came in and the bottom fell out breaking both lenses. I'll be able to see as soon as I get the new lenses...
