my interior light is shutting off after about five seconds of my door being open and the same is happening with my bed light, is this normal and maybe i just havent notice or is my truck giving me a hard time?oh yea its an 06 dodge ram 1500

 

sounds like a setting. I would check in the owners manual as there are funny ways to change settings like that. You could have cycled the ignition and turned the lights on/off a couple of times and maybe that changed it???? I'm just throwing sh*t out there.

 

haha thats what i was hoping, cause thats what i did to turn off my seat belt ringer but i couldnt find it anywhere in my manual so im at a loss

 

Yeah, my interior lights stay on for 3 minutes or so??? I went through all those functions to turn off the seatbelt chime, the horn beep when I lock/unlock the doors and changed the doors so they all unlocked instead of just the drivers door.

 

have any tricks to turn off that annoying beep when you open your driver side door and still have your radio on ?

 

manually click the latch closed. Just remember to unlatch it before you try to close the door!!!
