Default My buddy got stuck

And he called me to pull him out. He has a 2008 rubicon with mud terrains. It was some real thick nasty mud. Even though I got a 2wd, my ram got the job done

Nice Job! What did you hook to on the front of your truck to pull him out?

I just hooked up a tow strap to my front axel. Woulda been nice if i had tow hooks. It took about 45 minutes total to get him out. His engine got water in it and it was smoking, and his skidplate came off. But the main thing is he got out lol.

Its better to hook up on the front bumper brackets on the frame, if your strap breaks, it can take out the cv joints, tie rods front dif cover, got caught up in the engine compartment, you did say you have a 2wd ?

wondered if someone would bring up that very important dont ever do procedure. especially on an IFS hooking to a front axle is a very BAD idea as stated before. only as an emergency last resort.
