Sounds to me like you are being ripped off big time, all you should need is a set of coil spacers and probably 1/2 hour labor at most per side...

they were saying new shocks and a bunch of stuff after he told me 700$ and started listing stuff i just ignored him cus i figured he was full of it and yeah as for the labour he said like 100-150 which me and my friends can easily install we've done tons of lifts and then he said alignment would be like 200 lol and he was trying to sell me bf good A/t for like 400$ a tire but i guess thats what happens when you live in canada and in a city where theres only 2 off road shops and over a million people they just jack the price

Alignment should be about $80. You don't need new shocks with the spacers! So, $150-200 for the spacers and $80 for alignment and you just have to install them yourself. I dunno why he would say $200 for alignment. Sounds like he has no idea what he's talking about because the rear axle is solid and not independent so there's no alignment needed for the rear.

i paid $91.95 for a 2.5" spacer and installed myself in a few hours. then paid $69.99 for a alignment at sears auto. A garage might charge for 1-2 hours of labor for this job as it is easy, unless they are trying to rip you off. i dont know where they came up with $700 for a leveling kit install.

Go back and ask the same guy again and see what he says. If he gives you the same crap, ask him why it costs so much for everything. $200 for alignment!?!? Then tell him to shove it and tell the manager that they just lost a customer due to price gouging and that the shop would not be recomended to friends. I hate it when they pull this crap on people. Pisses me the hell off. Asa matter of fact, I'll drive there from virginia and tell that mudatruka off my damn self. Damn it. I'm wore out now. I need a beer. See you guys later.

I went to the dealership and asked them about a leveling kit and they said $300 installed and aligned. So I would also do it you'rself if I were you.
