What makes this so $$$?
wow, thanks for all the info. that pretty much summed it all up for me. as it still stands, i have a 2WD, and the harshest environment i drive in is dirt/gravel roads. so this kit is pretty overkill for my needs. although, if i could find it with all 4 shocks for cheaper i might do it just for the bragging rights.
i have to agree with hammer. there are many things the cheaper lift kits especially the larger ones.. 4" and up that they don't have. many times they lack new control arms which causes issues with ride quality, suspension flex, as well as adjustability and loss of wheelbase as you go up higher. new shocks are missing many things to do the job right. i used to be big into jeeps and still am and you run into this all the time. My jeep had a 3.5" lift that ran me back all said and done 1500 or something in that area. rubicon express plus all the parts to make it work right. i never felt bad for the people that bought cheap springs off the internet and wondered why it would break and the ride quality sucked.
