the main purpose of a throttle body spacer is to waste your money, and not give you any benefits. seriously, its worth more as a paper weight. dont get one.

yea I agree. I didnt notice any performance gain. When I put mine on there was this awful whistle noise everytime I gas the truck. I've read post on here and alot of people say the Hemi's with TBS make a whistle noise all the time. SO DONT WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Don't get one with the twist milled in them. Adding a TB spacer can increase torque a little because you are basically making the intake runners about 1" longer which will lower the powerband a bit. Some notice a gain, some do not. I have never tried one so I can not verify either way.

I agree! Mine in still in my truck, because I am too lazy to take it out! The whistling is annoying and very consistent! When I do take mine out (probably not until it is warm out) I will then have a new $100 paper weight!

Paper weight! No gain in power and no gain in mileage. It's a sales gimmick because they are super cheap and really easy to machine. It's pure profit other than advertisement for those guys.

Yeah its pretty pointless acually, they claim it adds hp and mpg but the odds are u wont get any type of increase. my buddy has one in his Ram(same kind as mine) and besides an increase in noise(not the powerful noise lol), it hasn't done much. He also has a K&N CAI which does help power noticably. I looked into it and honestly its just a waste of money. CAI are much more worthwhile as I have seen an increase in power and a little bit of extra mpg.

they do help on some engines, although the way the 5.2/5.9L magnums are setup they are worthless, im not sure about the 4.7 or 5.7.
i do know they help out the inline 6 4.0L on the jeeps quite a bit.

Wouldn't go with a spacer but if you can find a larger bore throttle body if will surely add power and increased air flow.
