Default My little snowbear plow

It gets the job done.

For $1500 it sure beats the hell out of snow blowing the entire drive.
Gonna upgrade to this one next year:https://www.snowplowstuff.com/store/...p?idproduct=43

This is a great little plow. I know people who have used them to do their driveways for over 10 years and they're still holding up.

limited versatility and you can only push so much snow and you need a place to push it as well. My driveway is much bigger and there's not much room to push only throw it. I'd rather snow blow. I have a 33" CubCadet 13hp Tecumseh OHV. It eats through anything. My one section is basically a parking lot and that's 60'x100' and then my driveway leading up to it is 15'x150' Takes me about an 1-1/2hrs to clean up 10".

Takes me 15 minutes at most to do my 240' long drive (it looks smaller in the pics). Plus it's nice and warm inside the ruck. My drive was drifted over 18-24" last year and this little sucker handled it fine. Just took a little longer than normal.

Striaght shots, plow hands down, however I can't get behind the snow to push it in my driveway. It's all boxed off. Besides you need extra room to pile the snow and I'm not willing to give up any room. I'd just rather spread it over my grass. It melts faster too. I could plow my driveway if I wanted but don't want to. I plow for my buddys business with his equiptment. His driveway is very similar to mine and I plow his. Takes me about 30min to get it all nice becuase there's very little room to get behind to push the snow where he wants it.
When I say 1-1/2hr to snowblow, that including all the walk ways and the sidewalk infront of the house. The walkways are roughly 1200sq/ft. driveway is 8250sq/ft. That's 9500sq/ft on surface i clean up in that amount of time. And i have to shovel half of the sidewalks because it's loose slate.

240' at and average of 20' wide is only 4800
240' at 40' wide is 9800sq/ft
And you really need to push the snow much further than where you want it because it hardens after a few warm/cold cycles, if not the next time it snows you'll loose even more room because the snow will only get pushed in front of the last pile.

You are correct. It's a simple pusher. I call them old man plows. They are affordable compared to outrageausly priced hydraulic normal plows and will save your back and your arthritis if your old...lol

They just lift up and drop down. They only can lift up so much and still stay really close to the ground. The brackets often get trashed because people try and move large amounts of snow and they are not made for that. A big truck like the Ram could do some damage control on the frame of those things. They are really meant for smaller trucks like rangers or dakotas.

Nah, the fiberglass plows are fine as long as your not using your 1500 to make money. No 1500 can hack the commercial life and most guys think when they have a plow they can ram anything and everything out there. That detroys your truck regardless of 1500 or 2500

That little plow is nothing for the 1500. As stated the truck can and will crush that tiny frame that is has no prob! I would actually rather have that than a plow that could hurt my truck.

Which is why I got it. If anything is gonna break....it'll be the plow first. I'd rather replace the frame on the plow rather than the frame on my truck. But the fram really isn't than tiny. Most if it is made out of 1.5" and 2" 3/16 tube steel...and 1/2" plate steel. If you know the load calcs of those two types...you'd understand. It's really no cheaper than a western suburbanite.
